CryptoGPT, a blockchain platform focused on AI development, has successfully utilized zkRollup technology to achieve efficient scalability and low transaction costs on its platform. Furthermore, CryptoGPT has introduced a unique data assetization mechanism that enables users to package and sell their activity data to AI developers through NFTs, generating revenue.
On March 2nd, CryptoGPT launched its first product, Alex, a chatbot that can answer any question and complete creative tasks, serving as a user's partner in the CryptoGPT ecosystem.
However, some users have noticed that Alex is very similar to OpenAI's earlier ChatGPT, with almost no difference in dialogue interface, features, and response style. They speculate that CryptoGPT simply wrapped ChatGPT in a shell without any innovation or improvement.
In response, the CryptoGPT team stated that Alex was developed based on OpenAI's GPT-3.5 model, but with their own optimizations and customization. Alex is capable of engaging in regular conversations with users, as well as generating multimedia content such as images, code, and music. Moreover, Alex can create an NFT for each conversation and store it on the CryptoGPT blockchain.
OpenAI has not commented on the matter. On April 10th, CryptoGPT announced the completion of a $10 million financing round, with a valuation of $250 million.
