According to a recent survey report released by the cryptocurrency asset management company Grayscale Investments, 26% of investors in the US surveyed said they own Bitcoin. Among these investors who hold Bitcoin, 46% and 44% hold Ether and Dogecoin in their accounts, respectively. In addition, 77% of respondents said that they may invest in Bitcoin through ETFs.

The survey sampled 1,000 respondents between the ages of 25 and 64. Everyone has at least US$10,000 of investable household assets (excluding work retirement plans or real estate) and a household income of at least US$50,000.

Most people invest in cryptocurrencies through apps or cryptocurrency exchanges, and only a few invest in Bitcoin through traditional self-brokers or industry professionals.

According to a survey conducted by Grayscale Investments over the years, the number of respondents using financial advisors for cryptocurrency investments has dropped from 30% in 2020 to 11% this year.

In terms of investment planning, more than 50% of the respondents believe that Bitcoin is a strategic project suitable for long-term planning of the overall investment portfolio, and 77% said they have purchased Bitcoin in the past 12 months. Currently, 91% of respondents are optimistic about their investment.

Overall, Bitcoin adoption rates have increased for all age groups, genders, and education levels. The report pointed out that being able to enter and exit the exchange at any time with a small amount of money, and the huge growth potential of related industries are the key reasons why Bitcoin has gradually become a popular investment target.
